Gene Loves Jezebel is a British gothic rock band formed in 1981 by twin brothers Jay and Michael Aston. Their most successful period came in the mid-1980s with albums like 'Discover' and 'The House of Dolls,' featuring the single 'Desire (Come and Get It).' Internal conflicts, particularly between the twin brothers, led to complicated lineup changes and eventually two versions of the band operating simultaneously.
