FM was a British rock band from London formed in 1984, specializing in melodic rock and AOR during the genre's peak period. The band featured strong harmonies, sophisticated arrangements, and radio-friendly production appealing to fans of Journey and Foreigner. FM achieved success with their 1986 debut album 'Indiscreet,' spawning 'Frozen Heart' and showcasing their ability to craft polished rock songs. Led by vocalists Steve and Chris Overland, FM delivered powerful performances over layered guitars and keyboards. Though they struggled commercially in their home country, FM found more success in Europe and maintained a dedicated following, representing the British contribution to melodic rock.
