Flowered Up were an English alternative rock band from Camden formed in 1989, known for harder, more aggressive sound than most baggy bands. Featuring Liam Maher's intense vocals and working-class lyrics, they gained attention for incendiary live performances. Their debut 'It's On' became an anthem, stretching to nearly 13 minutes. Their 1992 album 'A Life With Brian' showed ambition. Despite brief existence and limited output, Flowered Up left lasting impression representing indie rock's rougher, street-level approach.
