Fish (Derek William Dick) is a Scottish singer and lyricist who gained fame as Marillion's vocalist before launching a successful solo career. His time with Marillion produced classics like 'Misplaced Childhood' featuring lengthy, narrative lyrics. After leaving in 1988, Fish's solo career allowed greater freedom, releasing 'Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors' (1990) showcasing songwriting depth.
