The Firm was a British rock supergroup formed in 1984 by former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and former Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers. The collaboration aimed to combine Page's legendary guitar with Rodgers' powerful blues-rock vocals for mid-1980s commercial hard rock. Their 1985 debut achieved commercial success, particularly with 'Radioactive,' though critical reception was mixed. The Firm's sound blended Led Zeppelin's heavy blues rock with Bad Company's straightforward approach, incorporating 1980s production. Their second album 'Mean Business' (1986) failed to match the debut's performance. Despite members' pedigree, The Firm was often seen as not fully utilizing their talents. The band disbanded in 1986, representing an interesting chapter in both musicians' careers.
