Fields were an English indie rock band from London formed in 2006, known for lush, atmospheric sound incorporating post-rock, shoegaze, and ambient elements. The band featured layered guitars and electronic textures creating expansive sonic landscapes. Fields released debut 'Everything Last Winter' in 2006 showcasing emotionally resonant songs with sophisticated arrangements. Their sound combined indie rock's melodic sensibilities with post-rock's textural approach. Though commercial success proved elusive, their work contributed to 2000s indie rock evolution, influencing subsequent bands exploring indie rock, post-rock, and electronic music intersection.
