Artist: Farm
Genre: Alternative Rock
Farm was a British alternative rock band from Liverpool, formed in 1983, led by vocalist Peter Hooton, who was also prominent in Liverpool's football fanzine culture. The band emerged from the city's post-punk scene with a politically conscious approach combining jangly guitar-based indie rock with baggy and Madchester elements. They achieved their biggest hit with 'All Together Now' in 1990, which became an anthem at football stadiums and reached the UK top ten. The band's music reflected Liverpool's working-class culture and left-wing politics, remaining respected for their integrity and connection to both music and football fan culture, particularly on Merseyside.
