The Enid are an English progressive rock band formed in 1974 by Robert John Godfrey, known for their classical-influenced progressive rock and independent approach. The Enid have maintained complete independence throughout their career, self-releasing albums and maintaining artistic control. They've released numerous albums and continue performing, maintaining their vision despite commercial pressures.
