Denny Laine is an English musician born in 1944, best known as a founding member of both The Moody Blues and Wings. With The Moody Blues, Laine sang lead on their first hit 'Go Now.' After leaving The Moody Blues, Laine later joined Paul McCartney's Wings, becoming the only member besides Paul and Linda McCartney to remain throughout the band's entire existence. With Wings, Laine co-wrote 'Mull of Kintyre' and contributed vocals and guitar to their successful run. His musical versatility and collaborative spirit made him valuable to both bands. After Wings disbanded, Laine pursued a solo career with moderate success. He represents musicians whose contributions to legendary bands, while sometimes overlooked, were essential to their success. Laine continues performing, celebrating his work with both The Moody Blues and Wings.
