Dave Stewart is an English musician, songwriter, and producer born in 1952, best known as one half of Eurythmics with Annie Lennox. Stewart's guitar playing, production skills, and songwriting combined with Lennox's vocals created one of the 1980s' most successful duos. Eurythmics' hits included 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),' 'Here Comes the Rain Again,' and 'Would I Lie to You?' Beyond Eurythmics, Stewart has had a successful production and songwriting career, working with numerous artists. He's also released solo albums and formed various musical projects. Stewart's contribution to 1980s pop through his production techniques and songwriting is substantial. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Lennox. Stewart represents the multi-talented musician-producer, successfully working across performance, songwriting, and production at the highest levels.
