Daryl Hall is an American singer, songwriter, and musician born in 1946, best known as half of Hall & Oates, one of the most successful duos in music history. With John Oates, Hall scored numerous hits including 'Rich Girl,' 'Kiss on My List,' 'Private Eyes,' 'I Can't Go for That,' and 'Maneater.' Hall's blue-eyed soul voice and songwriting combined with Oates' musicianship created a distinctive sound blending rock, soul, and pop. Beyond Hall & Oates, Hall has pursued solo work and collaborated with numerous artists. His web series 'Live From Daryl's House' has featured collaborations with diverse artists. Hall was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Oates. He represents American pop-soul at its most successful, creating timeless songs that crossed racial and genre boundaries. Hall continues performing and creating music.
