Dana (born Rosemary Brown in 1951) is an Irish singer who achieved fame by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1970 at age 18 with 'All Kinds of Everything.' The song became a massive international hit and made Dana a star. She continued with a successful pop career, scoring further hits and maintaining particular popularity in Ireland and the UK. Dana's wholesome image and clear voice made her popular across generations. Beyond music, Dana became involved in politics, serving as a Member of the European Parliament. She represents Eurovision success transitioning into sustained career, demonstrating that contest winners could build lasting careers.
