Artist: Commodores
Genre: Funk
This appears to be a duplicate entry for The Commodores, the American funk and soul band. The Commodores were one of Motown's most successful groups, originally fronted by Lionel Richie before his solo career. Their musical versatility allowed them to excel at both upbeat funk tracks and romantic ballads, making them one of the most complete R&B groups of their era. Songs like 'Brick House' became funk anthems, while ballads like 'Three Times a Lady' and 'Easy' showcased their softer side. The group's tight musicianship, sophisticated arrangements, and ability to balance commercial appeal with musical credibility made them enduring favorites. Even after Richie's departure, The Commodores maintained their reputation and continued performing, demonstrating the strength of the brand and the quality of their musical foundation.
