Bucks Fizz were a British pop group formed in 1981 to represent the UK in Eurovision, which they won with 'Making Your Mind Up.' The group consisted of Bobby G, Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan, and Jay Aston. Following Eurovision victory, they became one of the UK's most successful pop groups of the early 1980s with hits including 'The Land of Make Believe,' 'My Camera Never Lies,' and 'Now Those Days Are Gone.' Their music featured catchy melodies, slick production, and elaborate choreography. They survived a serious coach accident in 1984. Personnel changes and legal disputes over the band name led to rival versions. Bucks Fizz represented polished, professional early 1980s British pop.
