Brian Poole and the Tremeloes were a British early 1960s beat group, fronted by singer Brian Poole. The band achieved success during the British beat boom with hits including 'Do You Love Me,' 'Twist and Shout,' and 'Someone Someone.' Their energetic performances and close harmonies made them popular during the height of British Invasion. Famously, Decca Records signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead of The Beatles, becoming one of music history's greatest mistakes. Despite this, the band achieved significant UK chart success. Poole left the group in 1966 to pursue solo career, while remaining members continued as The Tremeloes and achieved even greater success.
