Artist: Brenda Lee
Genre: Pop
Brenda Lee is an American singer born in 1944, who achieved fame as a child and became one of the most successful early rock and roll era female artists. Known as 'Little Miss Dynamite' for her powerful voice despite small stature, Lee scored numerous hits including 'I'm Sorry,' 'Sweet Nothin's,' and Christmas classic 'Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.' Her remarkably mature voice allowed her to compete with adult singers while still a teenager. She successfully transitioned from teen sensation to country music star in the 1970s-80s. Lee has sold over 100 million records and was inducted into both Rock and Roll and Country Music Halls of Fame.
