Brass Construction were an American funk group formed in Brooklyn in 1968, known for their horn-driven funk and disco sound. The band, led by Randy Muller, achieved mid-1970s success with their self-titled debut album featuring the hit 'Movin'.' Brass Construction's music was characterized by powerful brass sections, tight rhythms, and infectious grooves perfect for dancing. Their sound combined funk, disco, and soul with sophisticated horn arrangements. Songs like 'Movin',' 'Ha Cha Cha,' and 'Changin'' became club favorites and have been extensively sampled by hip-hop artists. Brass Construction represented the height of 1970s funk musicianship. They continued recording and performing through decades.
