Blink were an Irish alternative rock band formed in Dublin in the early 1990s. The band should not be confused with American punk band Blink-182. Blink created guitar-based alternative rock influenced by both British indie and American alternative trends. They released albums and singles that received Irish radio airplay and performed extensively on the Irish live circuit. The band represented Ireland's vibrant 1990s alternative rock scene, contributing to the country's musical diversity beyond traditional Irish music.
