Belouis Some (born Neville Keighley) is a British new wave musician who achieved mid-1980s success with sophisticated synth-pop sound. His biggest hit was 'Imagination' in 1985, which became a top 20 hit in both UK and US. Belouis Some's music combined electronic production with pop hooks and smooth vocal delivery. His image was polished and stylish, fitting new romantic and synth-pop aesthetics. Other songs like 'Some People' and 'Round and Round' demonstrated his ability to craft catchy, radio-friendly pop. Despite initial success and major label contract, Belouis Some was unable to sustain commercial momentum and became essentially a one-hit wonder.
