Artist: Beethoven
Genre: Classical
Ludwig van Beethoven was a German composer and pianist born in 1770, widely considered one of the greatest composers in Western music history. Beethoven's music marked the transition between Classical and Romantic eras, expanding musical forms and expressive possibilities. Despite progressive hearing loss that eventually left him completely deaf, Beethoven created masterpieces including nine symphonies, 32 piano sonatas, 16 string quartets, and numerous other works. His Symphony No. 9, featuring 'Ode to Joy,' is one of classical music's most celebrated works. Beethoven's music is characterized by dramatic power, emotional depth, innovative structure, and profound humanity. He died in 1827.
