Barry White was an American singer, songwriter, and producer born in 1944, known for his deep bass voice and lush, orchestral soul productions. White achieved massive 1970s success with romantic soul ballads and disco-influenced dance tracks. His hits included 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe,' 'You're the First, the Last, My Everything,' and 'Never, Never Gonna Give Ya Up.' White's signature sound featured string arrangements, spoken-word intros in his distinctive bass voice, and smooth, sensual grooves. He also led Love Unlimited Orchestra and produced Love Unlimited. White sold over 100 million records worldwide and passed away in 2003.
