Artist: Bachman Turner Overdrive
Genre: Rock
Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO) were a Canadian rock band formed in 1973 by Randy Bachman after leaving The Guess Who. The band also included Fred Turner, Tim Bachman, and Robbie Bachman. BTO achieved massive mid-1970s success with straightforward, blues-based rock. Their biggest hits included 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet,' which topped charts worldwide, 'Takin' Care of Business,' and 'Let It Ride.' BTO's music was characterized by driving rhythms, powerful guitar riffs, and working-class themes. Their no-frills, meat-and-potatoes rock approach made them hugely successful on rock radio. Randy Bachman's guitar work and Fred Turner's powerful vocals defined their sound.
