Atomic Rooster were an English progressive rock band formed in 1969 by keyboardist Vincent Crane and drummer Carl Palmer after the breakup of Arthur Brown's band. Known for their heavy organ-driven sound that combined progressive rock, hard rock, and psychedelia, their most successful period came in the early 1970s with hits like 'Tomorrow Night' and the UK number one 'Devil's Answer.' Vincent Crane's powerful Hammond organ was the centerpiece of their dark, apocalyptic sound.
