Art of Noise were an English avant-garde synth-pop and electronic music group formed in 1983 by producer Trevor Horn, journalist Paul Morley, and studio musicians Anne Dudley, J.J. Jeczalik, and Gary Langan. The group pioneered use of sampling technology and digital production, creating a unique sound that blended orchestral elements with electronic music. They're best known for innovative instrumentals including 'Close (To the Edit)' and 'Moments in Love,' plus their collaboration with Tom Jones on 'Kiss.'
