Apollo 440 (also known simply as Apollo) were a British electronic group formed in Liverpool in 1990, known for their genre-blending sound combining rock, electronic dance music, and industrial elements. The band achieved greatest success in the late 1990s with their energetic, big beat-influenced sound. Their biggest hit was 'Stop the Rock' in 1999, which combined rock guitars with electronic beats. They were also known for 'Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Dub,' a remix of Van Halen's 'Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love.' The group disbanded in the mid-2000s.
