Anti-Pasti were an English punk rock band formed in Derby in 1979, part of the UK82 punk movement. The band played energetic, politically-charged punk rock with a raw, aggressive sound that stood in contrast to the more polished new wave emerging at the time. They released their debut album 'The Last Call' in 1981, which became a cult classic among punk fans. Known for their anti-establishment lyrics and DIY ethics, Anti-Pasti represented the continued vitality of punk rock into the 1980s. Despite their underground following and influence on later hardcore bands, they disbanded in the early 1980s after limited commercial success.
