Amazulu were a British ska and pop band formed in London in 1982, fronted by singer Sharon Bailey. The band was notable for being one of the few British groups of the era to feature prominently female members in a genre typically dominated by men. Amazulu achieved their greatest success in the mid-1980s with their cover of 'Too Good to Be Forgotten,' which reached the UK Top 5 in 1986. The band's sound combined upbeat ska and reggae influences with pop hooks.
