Amazing Blondel were an English acoustic progressive folk band formed in 1969, known for their use of medieval and Renaissance instruments and their revival of traditional English folk music. The trio consisted of John Gladwin, Terry Wincott, and Eddie Baird, who played various period instruments including lutes, recorders, and citterns. They were part of the progressive folk movement of the early 1970s alongside Steeleye Span and Fairport Convention. Though they never achieved mainstream success, they maintained a devoted following.
