Alan Price is an English musician best known as the original keyboardist of The Animals, the legendary 1960s rock band. Born in 1942, Price was a founding member and played on their biggest hits including 'House of the Rising Sun.' After leaving The Animals in 1965, he formed The Alan Price Set and enjoyed solo success with hits like 'Simon Smith and His Amazing Dancing Bear' and 'The House That Jack Built.' He also composed music for films and television.
