Airhead were a British rock band formed in London in the late 1980s, active during the early 1990s before the full emergence of Britpop. The band released their debut album 'Boing!!' in 1991 and achieved moderate success with singles including 'Funny How' and 'Counting Sheep.' Airhead's sound combined indie rock with pop sensibilities, featuring jangly guitars and melodic songwriting. Despite critical attention and some chart success, Airhead split up in the mid-1990s before Britpop's commercial peak.
