Artist: A House
Genre: Alternative Rock
A House were an Irish alternative rock band formed in Dublin in 1985, known for their caustic wit, social commentary, and distinctive blend of indie rock and house music influences. Fronted by Dave Couse, the band created intelligent, often sardonic songs addressing Irish life, relationships, and society with humor and insight. Their music combined traditional rock instrumentation with electronic elements and dance rhythms. Though they never achieved major commercial success, A House built a devoted following in Ireland and influenced subsequent Irish alternative bands.
