The 5th Dimension were an American vocal group from Los Angeles who achieved massive success in the late 1960s and 1970s with their sophisticated pop-soul sound. Their hits, including 'Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In,' 'Up, Up and Away,' 'Wedding Bell Blues,' and 'One Less Bell to Answer,' combined orchestral pop arrangements with soulful harmonies. The group's elegant presentation and quality material made them one of the era's most successful acts. The 5th Dimension represented pop-soul crossover at its most commercially and artistically accomplished.
